Oct 21 Cactus Liquors are a fun party/dance band with a great song list

With a band name that comes from the love of tequila, “The Catcus Liquors”, consisting of Colin Grand Pre Lead vox, guitar, Bret Beale ; Lead vox, bass, Craig Spilsbury ; Lead guitar, Shep Williams ; Keys and Ronnie Smith ; Drums always try to live up to their mantra to just have fun every time they go on stage.

Vizions of Rock: Where did the name come from and why?

CACTUS LIQUORS: Colin likes Tequila…. we all like Tequila.

Vizions of Rock: How did the band get together and how long have you been together?

CACTUS LIQUORS: the band formed about 20 years ago as a spin off from the band, Laughing Man. The current lineup has been together for 7 years.

Vizions of Rock: How would you describe your brand of electric, American Rock and Roll?

CACTUS LIQUORS: We cover many different styles of popular dance music from over the last 60 years

Vizions of Rock: Who are your influences?

CACTUS LIQUORS: John Hiatt, Little Feat, Tom Petty, John Prine, Rolling Stones, Mavericks, Classic Rock, Country, Americana… Nashville, Motown, Liverpool, New Orleans, San Francisco, Los Angeles ….

Vizions of Rock: What do you enjoy most about being musicians?

CACTUS LIQUORS: chicks and beer

Vizions of Rock: What is the genre of your music and is there a message that you’re trying to communicate with it?

CACTUS LIQUORS: Americana, Classic Rock, Outlaw Country, New Wave, Motown….

Vizions of Rock: Do you have a booking agent, who handles your touring?

CACTUS LIQUORS: nope

CACTUS LIQUORS: stay in school
